SIGN LANGUAGE

Aquarius

As discussed in Chapter 4 of our publication, “When to Buy and When to Sell: Combining Easy Indicators, Charts, and Financial Astrology” (available on Amazon), and our Sign Language – Introduction blog dated 3-24-24, the zodiacal signs are part of every individual and business birth charts, based on date and time of birth, incorporation, or first public trade date on an equity index.

As documented, the general/mundane zodiac begins with the sign of Aries (as the 1st house), and the houses then move counter-clockwise around the zodiac wheel, until they reach the 12th house, completing the cycle. Also noted is the fact that the 2nd, 5th, 8th, and 11th are the financially focused houses, though others can have minor influences. On our website we will periodically discuss these energies regarding the mundane/general collective and the U.S. Stock Market first trade date chart.

Today’s focus is the sign of Aquarius, which resides in the 11th house of the zodiac (based on the Aries Rising chart). Aquarius is a free-spirited themed sign, symbolized by the Water Bearer, and is an air, fixed, male sign, ruled by the planets Saturn and Uranus. This signs’ traits include intellect, forward vision, humanitarian interests, and invention. As mentioned, whenever a specific sign “season” occurs, the Sun shines its energies and brings it to the forefront, and this Aquariusseason” (when the Sun is traveling through the sign of Aquarius) runs from January 20, 2025 through February 18, 2025. Aquarius “season” is usually a bit choppy in the U.S. equity markets, so be cautious and selective.

As noted, the 11th is one of the financially focused houses of the zodiac. This position symbolizes future plans, dreams, and fate regarding one’s wealth. In the financial markets, Aquarius signifies high tech (including information, futuristic, and nuclear), AI, Bitcoin, and electrical grid systems, consistent with its association with Uranus. Continued gains in these sectors are likely, and as discussed in previous blogs, including Planet Power – Pluto in Aquarius, dated 3-17-24, Planet Power - Pluto-Neptune, dated 10-5-24, and Trader Transits -  Pluto in Aquarius, dated 11-8-24. Please review these blogs for further details.

This Aquarius season contains a few interesting planetary aspects, including the planet Mercury entering the sign on January 27, and remaining through the end, just into the beginning of Pisces season.

Mars retrograde (which began on December 6) will remain in effect through Aquarius season, in the sign of Cancer, likely continuing the intense price moves in the equity markets.

The energies of the Uranus retrograde, located in the latter stages of Taurus (money), which began on September 2nd, will end on January 30, 2025, about a week or so into Aquarius season.

As these retrograde energies start to fade, the full force of Uranus (known as the great “disruptor”) will resume. Since Uranus does co-rule Aquarius season, look for potential continued gains in the technology related sectors and stocks. Later in the year (1st week of July), Uranus will also change signs, moving into Gemini, another “air” sign with some similar qualities. The combination of Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini shows promise for additional strong advancements in technology, including robotics, AI, and quantum computing.

As noted, some sectors to watch for this Aquarius season as the Sun and Mercury occupy the sign, include defense, technology, and cryptocurrency. Taking some profits and holding cash for future opportunities continue to be a consideration for the time being with the constant fluctuations in the markets.

Finally, all birth/natal charts are unique, and every individual (or business) possesses its own set of planetary and sign positions in each house.
